Established in 1978 as "Aspen Canvas", the name was changed in 1997 to the Aspen Luggage Company, reflecting the upgrade of the primary production material from cotton canvas to the highest quality American Made Ballistic Nylon that we currently use today.  December 2003, Aspen Luggage Company was sold to Bubba's Bags, Inc., and longtime Aspen locals, Bubba & Tracy Eggleston. The tradition of the Aspen Luggage Company continues in the North of Nell building, at the base of Aspen Mountain. A true testament to product quality and customer service, the Aspen Luggage Company enjoys a large percentage of repeat customers and  consistent positive feedback regarding our durable and renowned duffel products.

Collapsible and Lightweight - The collapsibility of our duffels make for easy storage when at home, but offer incredible capacities during travel. If you like to fly, the lightweight characteristics of our duffel bags allow you to pack more and still remain within the 50 lb weight limit for checked luggage that is currently being enforced by most major airlines. If you are driving, our duffels conform to the shape of your trunk more easily than structured luggage, resulting in more efficient vehicle packing on any trip.

Extreme Conditions - Our duffels have even been used by mountaineers for extreme travel in extreme conditions. Our largest duffel bag,  the Aspen Luggage #209 was even used to transport supplies and belongings to base camp during a successful expedition to summit Mt. Everest in 2004.
